Sam, this postcard photo shows a former Southern Airways DC-9 with Southern's "S" tail logo and their last blue and white livery with Republic painted over the Southern Airways name on the fuselage above the windows. It was taken after Southern's 1979 merger with North Central Airlines to form the new Republic Airlines. It represents a rare photo capture of one of Southern's DC-9 airliners. Thanks for sharing this one!
