Sam, this one looks like the Hispano Aviación HA-1112-M1L Buchon, built in Spain in the early 1950's and using a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. It is a license built Messerschmitt Bf-109G.

Yes... It is... Slightly modified forward fuselage behind the engine... I believe the Spanish took the 109G-14 fuselage and put the Merlins in it... Similar concept to the casa built he-111

Sam, you are right. Here's another of this type earlier posted on FA. I'm seeing some differences in the prop and spinner. A few other minor differences.

Most 109s are Hispano built... There are only 1 or 2 flying authentic nesserschmitts

I believe Franco had he 111 and ju88s tip the 80s and do 24s for SAR
