Placid Lassie is 100% C-47 and was flown by the USAAF during WWII...

Joe Baugher's published information adds this a/c was built by Douglas as a "C-47A-40-DL" with MSN 9926, "Delivered to USAAF 26Jul43", and was assigned USAAF s/n 42-24064.
