This aircraft is a 1991 Boeing 767-3S1(ER), SN 25221, owned/operated by Atlas Air. 9/30/22.
Comments
Larry Toler, not sure. I it could’ve just been for refueling I suppose, but troops from Fort Bliss were scheduled to be deployed to Europe. I should have asked!
@Erik Bruner: Why?
In talking to the transportation coordinator, there were several GS employees and contractors to drop off at Hann, then troops to Qutar. Atlas put up the troops in the Courtyard by Marriot in downtown Indy, fed them well, then took off early Saturday.
wdhearrell, caption is changed. Thank you so much for the info! I had briefly talked to ground staff at Million Air and they said the troops were happy to get put up in that hotel that evening haha
