De Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou (37105)
Museo del Aire, Madrid, Spain.
Comments
A DHC trademark to have the engine controls mounted high up on the overhead instead of having a throttle pedestal. Same arrangement held later with the DHC 5 Buffalo and then the DHC 6 Twin Otter, although with the Dash 7 and Dash 8 they went down onto the pedestal.
Thanks for the comment Chris, very appropriate.
Cheers Manuel. I was in the cockpit of a Caribou just 3 months ago at the Evans Head airfield YEVD in New South Wales. About 650 km north of Sydney YSSY. A very impressive airframe is the DHC 4.
You're a very lucky guy, Chris, congratulations!
