— — - While plane watching years ago at Bradley Field in Windsor Locks CT, a shabby, forlorn P-2 Neptune (note twin 50 cal. dorsal gun turret) pulled up, brakes squealing and parked between airliners. Two men came out from the terminal and talked between themselves for 5 minutes, then handed the pilot a note using a long pole. The P-2 then pulled out and took off into history. What a day that turned out to be.
