Nice photo but it is a U.S. Air Force photo taken by Tech. Sgt. Ben Bloker.

I like this one.

The actual ribbon is nothing more than a thin plastic ribbon, easily torn. I've seen a piece of it catch on his prop spinner before and it just hangs and flaps in the wind.

Well . . . you just might be right. I couldn't remember what kind it was and am not as up on helicopters as I should be, so I put what I thought I was. This was the only shot I had of this so I had nothing from the side. I'll change the caption so it will be correct. Thanks for pointing this out.

No country has prefix code L- otherwise you could register a plane L-MFAO

The CAP does a great work to bring the youth closer to aviation!

I actually did recognize it as a P-51 but it still should have been identified when posted as well as just a little detail behind the photo. I agree with a no or low vote with the lack of any commentary.

What exactly is the purpose of a stream of unlabeled photos on fightawe's photo section?
Written on 08/28/2014 by Guido Warnecke
And this plane is a what? It was taken where? Taken when? Airshow, flight test?
Written on 05/12/2014 by Jimmy Robinson
Such a great aircraft. Your photo hurts!

This is a nice photograph. I really like the metering to make it underexposed. That makes the image.

Wow! I've never seen a rainbow effect in all the years I've been shooting. Good shot.

It's a Boeing V-22 Osprey, designed for both vertical and horizontal flight.

Lufthansa and other airlines do this too.
This aircraft was ultimately involved in a fatal accident seven months after this photo was taken and is documented under NTSB report Identification: CEN14LA056

Very nice. This looks so peaceful and serene, a good place to take a walk and relax.
Written on 02/24/2014 by Jimmy Robinson
Thanks. I've taken many of this plane and yet kept on taking it every time I saw it. The guy that owned it was a hot dog which made for some good angles sometimes.

Again here my question: what does a photo like this contribute to the flightaware.com photo section?
Written on 12/15/2013 by Guido Warnecke
Nice! Great colors on that plane.

No problem. I've done it myself, unfortunately. Nice shot too.
